Ski to the Moon
Saturday, February 8th
Starting 5:30 p.m. ending 8:30 p.m
Participants are encouraged to bring head lamps and ski the trails in the moonlight!
Trail side soups, breads, desserts and hot drinks will be provided. Day prices will apply, and donations will be accepted for the Nordic program.
The terrain on the Cascade Nordic Trails at Hasbrouck Ranch Nordic Ski Trail varies from rolling hills to flats. All trails are fat bike, snowshoe and skier friendly. Rover’s Roundabout is the only dog friendly trail.
Cost is $25 for season passes and $5 for day passes for ages 16 and older. Cost is free for youths age 15 and under.
Day and season passes are sold at the trailhead, online or at the Cascade recreation center. Proceeds from the sale of passes support maintenance of the trails.
Season passes can be picked up at the Cascade Recreation and Aquatic Center, located at 333 Kelly’s Parkway. Trails are not patrolled regularly, so trail users are asked to follow Nordic Trail Etiquette.
More information as well as updates on trail conditions will be available on the website, http://cascaderec.org.
All of the ski events should be the Recreation Center Info on it, I just found out that the Recreation Center took control of all the events at the Nordic ski trail or Hasbrook as some call it.
