Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing has gained in popularity in the past couple of years both as a sport and in recreation. The stretch along the river between Kelly’s Whitewater Park and the Ashley Inn is also popular for snowshoeing. Winter wildlife viewing along the way is an added bonus with bald eagles, mergansers, great blue herons and river otters to name but a few.
