Thunder Mountain Days
Thunder Mountain Days is more than fireworks. It’s a tradition that brings our Cascade community together year after year.
After reviewing this year’s finances and community feedback, the Thunder Mountain Days Board has agreed to continue the Parade and Duck Race. However, a commitment to the 2027 Fourth of July fireworks will depend on raising $48,000 by February 1st.
Here’s what we’re working toward:
-
$30,000 for the 2027 fireworks
-
$11,000 to replenish funds used to cover this year’s loss
-
$7,000 to support monthly expenses while a new budget is established
We can’t promise fireworks until the full $48,000 is raised. If we don’t reach that goal by February 1st, the Board will make a final decision about hosting them.
