Cascade Thunder Mountain Days

Come join the annual fun and spend 2018’s 4th of July in Cascade! All events will take place on Wednesday, July 4th this year.

Look forward to the following events:

Buckaroo Breakfast: 7-10 a.m. Masonic Hall

Main Street Parade: 11 a.m.

The parade will be honoring 10 veterans from the Navy Patrol Squardron Eleven(VP-11) Alumni based out of the Naval Air Station in Brunswick Maine. They flew P2s & P3s locating submarines. The oldest living survivor of the USS Arizona has been invited to serve as the great grand marshal of the parade.

The Army National Guard Honor Band will be featured in the parade.

BBQ & Games for the entire family: Noon,  Armstrong Park

Rubber Duck Race Drop at KWP: time to be announced

Fireworks over Lake Cascade: Fireworks to be launched over Lake Cascade at dusk.

Cascade End-of-Year Centennial Celebration

Happy Birthday City of Cascade and Valley County! Several events and activities have occured throughout the year in celebration of 100 years of history and culture that makes this such a great place to live! Take a look at the official Centennial Magazine.

Come join us December 30th, 2017, for an end-cap to this wonderful and memorable year!

At 6:30 pm, we will meet at the Roxy Theater to watch a short video highlighting this years centennial celebrations. After, participants should meet up at Van Wyck unit at Lake Cascade State Park for bonfires, s’mores, hot drinks, and entertainment. At 7:30, we will light and launch 100 Chinese Lanterns!
